Dr. Pocinki is a general internist in private practice in Washington, D.C. He has been interested in the joint hypermobility syndromes and related autonomic and sleep problems since the late 90’s, and before that in chronic fatigue syndrome, which he believes is also related to hypermobility and autonomic dysfunction.  He has received a variety of awards and recognition for service to his profession as well as for the quality of his practice, and speaks and writes about EDS and related conditions as often as possible. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University Medical Center; and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College.
